About the Role

We are looking for a talented Mechanical Engineer with a passion for Mechanisms and Motion Control. You will lead the design of high-precision moving parts, drive trains, and complex mechanical linkages. Your work will ensure the reliability and accuracy of advanced systems that demand “Small and Smart” mechanical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Mechanism Design: Design and develop complex moving assemblies, including gear trains, linkages, shutters, and gimbal systems.
  • Drive Systems: Integrate motors (Stepper, DC, Piezo), lead screws, bearings, and encoders into high-precision motion platforms.
  • Structural & Dynamic Analysis: Perform kinematic and dynamic simulations, as well as FEA (structural/vibration), to ensure stability and minimize jitter.
  • Control Collaboration: Work closely with control and electronics engineers to optimize system response, settling time, and positioning accuracy.
  • Prototyping & Testing: Hands-on assembly of complex mechanisms, conducting life-cycle tests and performance validation under various environmental conditions.

Qualifications

  • Education: B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from a leading institution.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing mechanisms and high-precision motion systems.
  • CAD Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in SolidWorks or Creo (including Mechanism/Motion modules).
  • Technical Skills: Deep understanding of kinematics, friction, lubrication, and precision machine design.
  • Analysis: Experience with motion simulation tools and FEA.
  • Bonus: Knowledge of MATLAB for kinematic modeling or control system analysis.
